Projections 2019: It's Splitsville for Nats and Braves as Yanks, Stros Go 1-0

The home teams went 3-1 last night with only Stephen Strasburg's curve bucking the trend. The Houston Astros are once again the favorites to win it all in 2019.

Projections as of 05 October 2019

The Tampa Bay Rays are in a real tight spot now, 4 to 1 underdogs in the ALDS. The most likely outcome is now a Houston sweep.

In game two, the Atlanta Braves evened the score at home, splitting the series before they head to St. Louis. The Cardinals are very, very modest favorites in the remainder of the NLDS.

In a contest that took approximately 13 hours and 78 minutes, the New York Yankees thumped the Minnesota Twins in game one. The most likely outcome is a Bombers win in three.

Strasburg's heroic efforts saved the Washington Nationals from going down 2-0 to the Los Angeles Dodgers. They head back home with a one-in-five chance of finishing off LA before having to return to Chavez Ravine.

The AL is back in action this evening. Can the Twins and Rays even the score? My numbers say probably not, but it's one game, so I'll be here all night, and I'll be here when you wake up in the morning.
